Hello everyone! Don’t we all have that one pair of favorite pair of jeans that we wear practically every day out of about 10 others that hang in our closets!? Or maybe a particular shade of lipstick that we keep buying over and over again! Well, I am guilty of all of the above along with a pronounced obsession for soya chunks! I love these and I can’t stop myself from trying to find ways to use it in my cooking as much as I can!
Soya – Healthy and Happy!
Soya chunksare so versatile that you can add them in any recipe that you want. The reason being, they do not have a taste of their own and take on the flavors of whatever you add to them. They can be paired with any number of ingredients to make a delicious yet very nutritious dish. Oh did I mention that they are extremely rich in protein? Yes, they are and therefore are a great source of protein especially for vegetarians. When you have something as nutritious and versatile as soya chunks, you can never run out of ideas to incorporate them in your food.
Oh, and I love the texture of these! Spongy, soft! Delicious!
Soya chunks are also available in the form of granules or flakes. As the name suggest, they are smaller than the chunks. Whichever ones you choose, you can add them to pulao, noodles, stir frys or even make an exclusive SOYA CHUNKS CURRY! A few days back I saw a big packet of soya chunks in my kitchen and decided to make some curry with them. But this time, I wanted to make something different and unusual. So I used some unusual ingredients that I had never used before. These ingredients, I am sure, would be readily available in your kitchens as well!
