HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN FRY
This succulent Chicken Fry is made with a mix of spices and turns out delicious every time!
boneless and skinless chicken thighs
cut into 1 inch pieces
ground into a paste
garam masala powder
panch phoron masala or jeera
In a bowl, marinate the chicken with the lemon juice, turmeric powder, chilli powder, onion paste, ginger paste, garlic paste, 1 tbsp ghee, salt and garam masala. Let it sit for about 15 minutes.
After the chicken is done marinating, in a pan, add the chicken and cook on a low flame till the chicken becomes tender and soft.
Now heat the rest of the ghee on a flat tawa (big enough to hold all the chicken). If you don’t have a tawa that big, a pan would also do.
Once the ghee is hot, add the green chillies, the panch phoron masala and the curry leaves. After they start to splutter, add the chicken and fry on a high flame.
Add the pepper powder along with the heavy cream and cook for another 5 minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot!
