Boneless Chicken cooked in a spicy amalgam of dry spices and cooked on a tawa – that’s what my latest creation looked like! Masala Chicken Fry. And it tasted just delicious. This quick and no fuss recipe should definitely be explored more! What’s more is that it is keto approved!
Since going keto, chicken comprises about 70% of what we eat. So trying out new recipes and adapting them to our taste is my ‘usual’ these days. Sometimes, I just ‘wing’ it and sometimes I like to try things which I don’t usually make in my kitchen. This is how I developed the recipe that I am sharing with you today. My version of Chicken Fry with lots of spices.
Being an advocate of spicy food, I wanted to cook something that would excite my taste buds. Not to mention, making something that is spicy as well as really quick! Isn’t ‘quick’ what we all are looking for?! I mean don’t get me wrong, I love cooking and being in the kitchen but I most of the times, try to find quick fixes which satisfy not just my but my husband’s taste buds too.
So chicken is our protein of choice. For more reasons that one! Firstly, we love how versatile it is. Any cuisine, any cut – tastes delicious no matter what!
Earlier, that is before going keto, we used to get chicken breasts all the time. If not that, it would be the good old chicken legs, better known as chicken drumsticks. But off late, I have gravitated towards the higher in fat, Chicken thighs. These are so much better in taste and texture in my opinion. The chicken breasts end up dry sometimes and then it’s really difficult to like it. Thighs however, turn up juicy and tasty each single time. And I find that it is practically impossible to overcook thighs. Well, almost impossible!
So, without further ado, let’s get right to the recipe for my version of this delicious and easy Chicken Fry.
