Hello my friends! How have you all been? It has been really really long since I last posted anything. The last month was particularly a very busy one. Shifting to a new apartment is not an easy feat! Moving your stuff is one thing and making it feel and look like home is a totally different ballgame. So much research, so many ideas, so many hits and even more misses in terms of decorating and ‘do-ing’ our little space! After exactly a month, I can now sit peacefully in this cozy little corner and get back to what I love most, writing, though I know that this is a never ending road and decorating my home would be an ongoing process for a really long time.
Anyhow, enough of my ranting. It feels as if I have missed so much going on in the world. I did not even get the time or the will to drag my body from the couch to fetch my laptop and do the writing! So, I was wondering that today, on this rainy morning, I have to write something and what better than talking about my super awesome and favorite ice cream parlor – Cold stone creamery, which is like a ‘go-to’ for us. When I say ‘go-to’, I mean like every second night we visit this creamery after dinner (or even before dinner!).
For those of you not familiar with this amazing creamery, let me try to explain in the best possible shortest way. Cold stone creamery is an American ice cream parlor chain which is like no other! Here you can find oh-so-creamy ice creams, cakes, ice cream cakes, smoothies and shakes! And that’s not all! The special thing or should I say the signature thing about this place is the process of preparing your custom ice cream creation. They do this on a frozen granite stone! There are about 20 signature creations such as Banana Caramel Crunch, Strawberry Rendezvous, Founder’s favorite, Apple pie a la cold stone to name a few. My favorite is the Banana Caramel Crunch which is made from super smooth French vanilla ice cream with roasted almonds, ripe but firm banana and caramel! What they really do is, they put all these ingredients on that granite cold stone and mix and mash everything until everything comes together perfectly and transfer this ooey-gooey smoothness to your choice of cup size or waffle cone. Delicious! Just thinking about it right now makes my mouth water. Yum!
Here is a pic of what we enjoyed one time. On the left is the Banana Caramel Crunch and on the right is Founder’s Favorite,
They have a couple of outlets around where I live. Do check out their website and visit one if possible!! You will love this!
Do let me know if any of you have visited this place. I would love to know about your experience there!
P.S: Once again, I apologize for the lack of pics…too busy enjoying those ice creams, always forget to click pics..!
